Maintenance and Repair of Non-Randex and Randex Equipment
Randex will support and provide a maintenance contract for Randex and non Randex equipment. This will be provided after an initial inspection to ascertain the condition of the unit, prior to cover being provided. The cover will be provided on a parts exclusive basis. We not only have our own large manufacturing facility in the USA for replacement part production but also have links with facilities here in the UK and mainland Europe. On Randex units all parts are available and are therefore supplied as part of the fully comprehensive contract.
The engineering support given to parts exclusive contracts is the same as that given to fully comprehensive contracts. The response time is 8 hours but most calls are responded to within 2 - 4 hours. Your units will be serviced twice per annum. A breakdown call is covered by your contract within the hours stated, however if the fault has occurred due to operator misuse or abuse the attending engineer will inform you, and it will become a chargeable call.
Training of Non Randex Personnel
Randex will provide users with full training on unit loading and general use as well as basic safety circuit fault checking to minimise unnecessary callouts, ensuring that your units are running with optimum efficiency and reliability. This training will also aid our Engineers to provide support to you over the telephone, as the user will have the basic knowledge required. As the call is logged at the call centre it will be allocated to an Engineer who will call you to give an estimated time of arrival and to obtain more details of the fault. If the Engineer believes the fault can be resolved by the user he will talk through a few basic checks which may solve the problem instantly. If the fault cannot be fixed, the Engineer will be with you at the time given.
If required, a further level of training can be given to allow appropriate members of your staff to carry out basic fault finding and correction. Details of this and cost of training can be given on request.
