Modern production methods call for the elimination of unnecessary operator travel time which in many organizations is caused by staff walking around the racks to retrieve product. Our solution moves only the item required to the requesting operative.
The item selected arrives on a tray at the delivery window at a comfortable working height. Whilst the item is picked up the next is already on the way. Picking is 2-4 times quicker than by traditional methods in a clean, safe and modern working environment. Staff turnover and absenteeism is often found to reduce.
The Automatic Vertical Lift saves 70-90% of floor space compared to traditional storage racks and can be adapted to.

Randex Automatic Vertical Lift Twin
The Twin is redefining the vertical lift market with it’s unique way of handling trays within the machine (the animation above illustrates how the twin lift system works). Calculations show the Twin can increase speed by up to 50%, give more picks per picking cycle and increase the tray capacity within the unit.

Control System
Randex are able to provide software designed specifically to meet the requirements of the client which are: CompactTalk and CompactBas.
Both CompactTalk and CompactBas communicate with the Randex Compact Lift and Twin to deliver the trays in the correct order.
CompactTalk is tray oriented in contrast to CompactBas which is product oriented.
CompactTalk can be ordered to bring out a tray. CompactTalk has no information of products stored on the trays.
CompactBas knows all products and their quantity on the trays within the storage elevators.
